Day 58: Fri 4 Jul 25 - Wondai

Fri 4 Jul 25 - Wondai

Weather: Minus 1 to 21, clear and very light winds... or very cold this morning, and a beautiful warm sunny winter's day.

After a slow start, I stepped outside for a walk around town then returned to cook us scrambled eggs for breakfast. Later in the morning, when the temperature had risen sufficiently, I climbed on the bike for a ride along the rail trail towards Kingaroy. Another 31km ride to Wooroolin in the opposite direction to yesterdays ride, and back. Apart from the slightest headwind heading out, it was perfect weather for a ride. Getting swooped by a magpie about 200m on the way back into Wondai gave me a bit of a surprise, and hurry up. No lunch needed after a big breaky, Noel and I (and Olli) headed into town for a late coffee and bought some fresh fish for me, and meat for Noel from the butcher for dinner. A bit of a rest and some admin, along with a few of short walks filled the afternoon and evening.
