Sat 21 June 25 - Bargara
Weather: 14 to 24 Deg, mostly clear with strong SE winds.
A very pleasant and relaxing day started with Noel and I (and Olli in his stroller) walking into Bargara for a cooked breakfast, and thankfully a walk back to the van to walk some of it off. It was so nice sitting outdoors at a cafe opposite the esplanade for a tasty breakfast and good coffee in the warm morning sun, watching the world drift by -almost like being on holidays. Back at the van, Noel set about some deep cleaning in the van, while I got out of her way and went for a solid ride - 35km around Bargara and Burnett Heads. Some sections were nice with a tailwind, but the sections heading into the strong SE were a bit more demanding. Back at the van we had lunch, followed by a little nap, then we drove into Bargara for Gelato and into Bundaberg to Pet Barn for a few more 'essentials' for Olli. It will make life a lot easier for us when he is fully vaccinated and able to be put out on the grass or in contact with other dogs. He certainly attracts a lot of attention, and we are very lucky that he seems to be settling in very well. After dinner, Olli kept us entertained with his zoomies before we all settled in for a quiet night.
