Day 42: Wed 18 June 25 - Bundaberg
Wed 18 June 25 - Bundaberg
Weather: 14 to 22, partly cloudy with a fresh SE Wind.
We were up early again - no alarm clock needed with Olli. We packed up and dropped the van off 18km away at Caseys RV in Bundaberg to replace the toilet at 8:00am. Breakfast at a cafe overlooking the Burnett River, a few hours walking around the city centre, then coffee and lunch in the city centre filled our day while waiting to collect the van again at 2:00pm. Finally, we have a fully functional toilet. All the Casey RV Staff were excellent to deal with; their customer service was excellent. Ray the technician who carried out our work was especially helpful and full of good information and tips. After handing over $1,340 (versus $1,850 quoted in Rockhampton), we were on our way back to the Wyper Scout Camp for another night. Dinner and a night in watching the State of Origin followed.
