Day 34: Tue 10 June 25 - Emu Park

Tue 10 June 25 - Emu Park

Weather: 10 to 20 Deg, clear with light SE wind. It felt much fresher than the BOM reported 10 Deg.

I went for a morning walk around town and along Fishermans Beach via the ANZAC Memorial walk to start the day. Afterwards, I called Caseys RV in Bundaberg to confirm our decision for them to go ahead and order a replacement toilet, hopefully next week. Our morning caffeine fix in town followed, then we drove into Yeppoon to visit the pet store and called into Rosslyn Bay Fish Coop to buy some fresh fish (for me) for dinner on the way back. After lunch, I borrowed a neighbours soldering iron and solder, and to my amazement with patience, I managed to reconnect the TV coaxial cable input which I snapped off yesterday. The TV is just outside  warranty, and while we could still stream programs, we couldn't watch free to air TV. Needless to say, I was pretty chuffed with my latest DIY repair effort. Another leisurely 20km ride around Emu Park and Zilzie, brought to end another magnificent, and somewhat productive day.
