Day 33: Mon 09 June 25 - Emu Park

Mon 09 June 25 - Emu Park

Weather: 12 to 22 Deg, clear with light winds

Not much to report today - It was a fairly quiet starting with a nice long walk along the beach and part way around the headland on another magnificent clear morning, then back to the van for breakfast. Afterwards we drove to  Rockhampton to meet Olli's previous owner at the Alma St Vet to transfer microchip details into Noeleene's name, and to get his vaccination and treatment records. We thought Olli only had 1 more vaccination and 2 weeks to go before being allowed on grass and mixing with other dogs, but it turns out to be another 2 vaccinations and 6 weeks wait. After leaving the Vet, we had coffee at the Two Professors cafe then returned to Emu Park via Petland for a collapsible canvas puppy pen and a few other essentials. After lunch, I contacted Casey's RVs in Bundaberg to explain our toilet issues and arrange a quote for replacement, which we hope to get done next week. We have the car booked in for a service in Gladstone on Monday 16th June, so hopefully we can get the toilet sorted soon after that week. After lunch, we had an LLD, then I gave the car a bath and did a few other chores before sitting down and watching a good game of football (Collingwood v Melbourne). A quiet evening with some more puppy zoomies for entertainment followed.

Morning walk along the beach and around the headland - some great real estate here, until the seas whip up.
