Wed 21 May 25 - Gladstone
Weather: 18 Deg at 07:00 climbing to a very tropical 27 Deg, overcast in the morning, clearing with a light easterly breeze
After our morning routine, I climbed on the bike for a leisurely 25 km ride around town, while Noel went for a long walk. Part way through my ride I met up with Peter (one of my brothers) at Spinnaker Park for coffee and a chat. Back at the van after a shower, it was already time for lunch, so Noel and I made a spur of the moment decision to head to the Auckland House Craft Brewery at East Shores. Overlooking the harbour with magnificent weather, the food was tasty and the beer refreshing. It was a nice change and very enjoyable. Walking back through the East Shores parkland to the car, we returned to the van via Mum's to collect the new toilet cassette which was delivered earlier. After a few test runs with plain water, all seemed OK with no signs of leakage, so tonight we are being brave, and taking it to the next level with real life testing. Fingers crossed 🤞. Another evening and dinner with Mum wrapped up the day.

| A very relaxing lunch date at Auckland House, a great waterfront location in the East Shores parkland overlooking the harbour. The craft beer brewed onsite was refreshing and the food tasty. |
